Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationship between the Fashion Academy and its course participants. They contain important information regarding contract conclusion, payment, and the handling of your data. The GTC have been carefully formulated to comply with legal requirements. We recommend that you read them carefully before using our services and seek legal advice if anything is unclear.
Participant information
The course contract is personal and non-transferable.
Our courses are aimed at adults and young people.
Registration takes place online via the homepage and is legally binding upon completion.
Cancellations and rebookings
Cancellations and rebookings must be communicated by email at least 72 hours before the course begins. In this case, a fee of 50% of the course price will be charged.
No-shows will be charged at 100% of the course price.
Illness and refund
In case of illness, a doctor's certificate must be submitted.
If you cancel your registration due to illness before the course begins, you must submit a doctor's certificate no later than 3 days after the course starts. The amount already paid will be fully refunded or, upon request, credited towards a future course.
If a course participant is unable to attend a multi-day course for health reasons, the medical certificate can be submitted no later than the last day of the course.
Cancellations during the course due to illness allow for a credit towards a future course.
Minimum and maximum number of participants
To ensure optimal course conditions, the Fashion Academy sets a minimum and maximum number of participants. If the required minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will not take place. In this case, the course fee will be refunded or reserved for a later date (by arrangement).
Media release
The Fashion Academy reserves the right to create images, videos and audio recordings of participants during the courses and to use them for its own purposes.
The making and publication of recordings by participants is only permitted with the express consent of the course instructor.
Offer and payment
The Fashion Academy offers both group courses and private lessons.
Payment is made during online registration. To enable payment on the day of the course, a credit card guarantee of 25% of the course price must be provided at registration.
Accident insurance
The Fashion Academy accepts no liability for accidents in the classroom or other incidents related to the course day. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own accident insurance.
The Fashion Academy accepts no liability for theft or loss of personal belongings.
Changes
The Fashion Academy reserves the right to modify the course program (schedules, instructors, etc.), prices, and terms and conditions at any time. The version valid at the time of booking always applies to registration, as it cannot be unilaterally changed during the contract process.
